The Position

The Global Pharma Strategy (GPS) team at Roche plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of healthcare by driving the strategic direction of our innovative product portfolio. As a member of the GPS team, you will be at the forefront of transforming groundbreaking scientific discoveries into accessible and impactful healthcare solutions for patients worldwide. As a Lifecycle Leader, you will lead the strategy and portfolio for specific assets from research through to the patient. You will act as the single point of accountability to the Late Stage Portfolio Committee (LSPC), maximizing the value of a product for patients, society, and the company by leading an integrated, global, and cross-functional strategy and team.

The Opportunity

  • Define and execute a visionary 10 year strategy for the GI portfolio, prioritizing breakthrough interventions in CRC and the RAS pathway while driving pipeline development to address high unmet needs.

  • Serve as the critical link to Research and Early Development to provide strategic insights and commercialization perspectives that shape early pipeline asset strategies and Target Product Profiles.

  • Enable commercialization success for late stage assets and ensure the filing success of new indications through integrated evidence generation and robust regulatory planning.

  • Lead the Lifecycle Team comprising Clinical, Medical Affairs, Commercial, Regulatory, and Pharma Technical to ensure seamless alignment on global milestones.

  • Assess the external landscape to identify high value Business Development opportunities and provide expert strategic guidance during due diligence for GI cancers.

  • Optimize the value proposition for assets and serve as the primary global face of the portfolio when engaging with Key Opinion Leaders, patient advocacy groups, and regulatory bodies.

  • Hold full financial accountability for the lifecycle program, ensuring resources are prioritized toward the most impactful CRC and RAS focused clinical programs.

Who You Are

  • You possess a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or Life Sciences, with an advanced degree and Oncology experience preferred, alongside significant pharmaceutical experience in delivering impactful development or commercial strategies.

  • You have a demonstrable track record of overseeing breakthrough strategies that drive financial results, including extensive experience in launch planning, global health systems, and end to end product life cycle planning.

  • You are a visionary and catalyst leader with deep GI and CRC domain expertise who can navigate regulatory, technical, and market access challenges while leading large teams across the full value chain.

  • You demonstrate the ability to lead by example as an architect and coach, fostering an inclusive culture and maintaining the commercial ambition necessary to give the portfolio a competitive edge.

  • You are a proven global leader with the ability to influence cross functional teams, deliver strategies on time and on budget, and maximize product lifecycle value in dynamic environments.
