Life Practice Account Manager (Individual Client/Policy Service)

Remote - Maryland Full time

The Life Practice Client Service Account Manager delivers exceptional client service and support. This role involves assisting with all aspects of day-to-day client interactions as directed by team members. Candidates must possess a strong understanding of the life insurance industry and a willingness to learn its complexities. The ideal candidate will be an outgoing, proactive problem-solver with proven success in managing a portfolio of High Net Worth/Private Client accounts.


Your Impact

  • Under minimal supervision, collect, analyze, and prepare information to facilitate requirements of client requests and/or support the activities of client team; outgoing client deliverables accurate.
  • Direct interaction with clients on day-to-day questions and requests.
  • Attend client meetings/conference calls regularly with team members.
  • Work closely with National Life Practice Service Team to develop and implement processes and Best Practices.
  • Attend Consultant and Vendor meetings and participates in internal and external training(s)
  • Develop the best possible working relationships with carriers. Utilizing resources available.
  • Proactively conduct research and produce financial analytics via collection, analysis, and interpretation of data for client deliverables.

Successful Candidate Will Have

  • 7+ years of individual Life/Disability/LTC industry experience
  • 5+ years of experience of High-Net-Worth client service experience
  • Valid State L&H license
  • A resourceful, proactive self-starting mindset with the ability to think ahead
  • A commitment to professional growth and development, including training and mentoring
  • Excellent organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Capacity to multitask, manage competing priorities with strong time management skills
  • Ability to express ideas clearly in both written and oral communications
  • Ability to work at a fast pace, both independently and in a team environment
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word

Pay Range:

$51,800 - $85,000 Annual

The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for this role.
