Job Summary

Responsibilities include schedule and execution of compliance and/or licensing activities related to inspections, allegations, Notices of Violation, Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) interface, and regulatory correspondence.

Job Description

What You'll Do:

  • Independently coordinate the evaluation, preparation, processing, and submittal of regulatory correspondence, including Licensee Event Reports, Notice of Violation responses, and License Amendment Requests.
  • Independently provide technical assistance and guidance to plant personnel in evaluating plant conditions requiring NRC notification.
  • Independently provide Technical Specification guidance to plant on clarifications and interpretations. Conduct event analyses and make recommendations on reportability.
  • Independently facilitate and coordinate work activity of others to perform routine regulatory tasks ensure all work activities are performed in accordance with the policies, practices, standards, and rules of the company as well as those regulations and procedures required by external agencies.
  • Interface with NRC Resident Inspectors, Regional Inspectors, NRR Project Manager, and other NRC staff to manage NRC Inspections and to support NRR review of requested licensing actions.
  • Support and participate in the Emergency Plan Organization and Corrective Action program activities as assigned and in accordance with procedures and policies applicable for the assigned role.

What We're Looking For:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a physical science or equivalent education and/or experience.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum of four years' experience in nuclear power plant operations or four years' experience in reviewing and preparing changes to licensing documents.

Compensation Range:

$85,081.00 - $106,352.50
