The Trimble License Compliance program ensures our customers to maximize productivity and receive the full value from their software investment.

 

What You Will Do:

 

The License Compliance Specialist is responsible for finding, validating, and closing license compliance opportunities in the India & SAARC Region. The LC Sales will work closely with the sales team and Trimble partners, legal, technical specialists, and other members of the License Compliance team on compliance matters.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

•          Ensuring License Compliance department objectives are communicated with clarity in the assigned geography and may have to travel to other parts too as required

•          Uses available License Compliance analytics tools and databases to investigate License Compliance prospects

•          Demonstrates courage to be able to facilitate challenging conversations and negotiations with customer C-level stakeholders

•          Demonstrates critical thinking to analyze how to present the compliance issues to the customers and still turn the situation into a positive commercial outcome

•          Demonstrate strong knowledge of software licensing models, license agreements, and contracts. Be a subject matter expert on these topics

•          Assists customers in determining and purchasing correct levels of software licenses

•          Drives compliance reconciliation purchases and uses compliance as a compelling event in consolidation purchases

•          Maintains basic knowledge of Trimble Tekla products, competition, and industry trends along with understanding project delivery methods

•          Understands legal compliance framework and exercising high-level judgment for each customer situation the LC Executive is involved in

•          Has the ability to successfully mitigate complex pushback by customers regarding the compliance situation

•          Read to work with License compliance partners and Law firms when needed.

•          Ready to work with third-party auditing firms to complete remote and on-site audits/raids of customers; analyzes results of audit/raid to determine negotiating position; assists sales in closing enterprise compliance deals

•          Engages and collaborates with the regional Sales team and Resellers where applicable – for example, where there might be up-selling opportunities

 

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

•          Graduate in Engineering or Science

•          Work experience of around 8 to 9 years of working compliance business

•          Should have a clear understanding of violation & infringement & corrective measures the software publisher is implementing.

Understanding of software licensing models, license agreements, and contracts

•          Previous experience dealing with principles, owners, and executives in sales situations Skills:

•          Good oral and written communication skills with an ability to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders, both within and outside the organization

•          Discretion in the handling of politically sensitive and confidential information.

•          Experience engaging with executive-level stakeholders to influence strategic business outcomes

•          Ability to accurately forecast and report on account activity

•          Experience in qualifying, scoping, and closing deals with a strong customer focus

•          Ability to adapt quickly and manage difficult situations while remaining upbeat and positive

•          Highest work ethics, work both independently and in team environments, self-starter, high energy, results-oriented, and can manage multiple priorities

•          Highly proficient computer skills including internet, email, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook,...)
