LPN – Cardiovascular Clinic
Position Overview
BJC/Saint Luke’s Health Cardiovascular Clinic is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our clinical team. This full-time, day-shift position focuses on delivering high-quality professional nursing care within an outpatient cardiovascular setting. 
Requirements
  • Licensure: Active LPN license in both Missouri and Kansas (or multistage/compact equivalent).
  • Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Skills: Strong professional demeanor, excellent customer service, and the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a collaborative team. 
Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Perform clinical screenings for walk-in patients and manage telephone screenings using established protocols.
  • Clinical Procedures: Assist with biopsies, wound care, dressing changes, suctioning, catheter insertion, tracheostomy care, and diabetic nail care.
  • Patient Education: Provide essential instruction on medications and injection techniques.
  • Team Leadership: Delegate tasks to Unlicensed Assistive Personnel (UAP) based on competency and scope of practice; provide coverage for Medical Assistant duties as required.
  • Compliance: Maintain clinic standards and practices to ensure superior patient outcomes.

Less than 1 year

Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Registered Nurse - Various

Associate Degree
