License Provisioning Specialist

The Role

Proofpoint is one of the fastest growing cyber security firms globally (multiple Gartner MQ, Forrester Wave and Frost Radar leader). Our product licensing team is looking for a Provisioning Specialist at its Cork Ireland location. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, motivated, quick learner and a team player.  In this pivotal role you will be part of a team that touches on all customers and collaborates closely with all other business units.
 

Your day-to-day

• Process and fulfil customer orders via Proofpoint-developed tools
• Collaborate with product teams to address and resolve configuration issues
• Aid in developing and updating procedural documentation
• Report problems or concerns promptly, effectively communicating with your manager to ensure timely resolution
• Undertake any additional tasks or assignments directed by the Manager that contribute to the overall success of the team and organization
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert for newly introduced products
• Drive process improvement efforts
   

What you bring to the team

• Analytical skills, which are crucial in deciphering complex product scenarios, gaining valuable insights and making informed decisions
• Customer service skills are essential for building strong relationships with internal customers, understanding their needs, and delivering exceptional best in class experiences
• Being a self-starter is invaluable as it demonstrates initiative, drive, and the ability to  take ownership of tasks without constant direction, leading to increased productivity and success in achieving goals
• An ability to flex with changing priorities, capable of handling rapid changes
• A talent for critical and creative thinking
• A working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications and Microsoft Windows OS – user level
• Working knowledge of ERP programs at the user level.
• Effective communication skills are vital for conveying ideas clearly, fostering collaboration, and building strong relationships within the organization
