General Job Description:
Under general supervision completes the following activities:
• Responsible for the completion of defined processes and procedures to deadline, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant internal and external standards. Identifies anomalies as they arise and uses judgement based on rules and procedures to resolve. For complex issues, may serve as a contact point for resolution.
• Contact and communicate international documentation requirements to customers whose shipments are in FEC system and whose documentation is incomplete, incorrect, or otherwise deficient.
• Coordinates with internal FEC departments, concerning shipments held because of incomplete/incorrect duties, taxes, general information and upon completion or correction of said documentation expedites shipments.
• Ensures FedEx full compliance with local export/import laws and corporate policies, norms, procedures and rules while maintaining updated documentation.
• Audits and tracks regulatory agency procedures in conjunction with broker invoices for reimbursable services/expenses to ensure payments are kept current and avoid delinquency fees, penalties and/or refusal of such agencies to work with FedEx.
• Coordinates with International desk and FEC contract broker concerning shipments held by other U.S. and local agencies to obtain release of shipments to destination.
• Acts as liaison between station personnel and FEC broker in processing export/import shipments.
• Establish and maintain a good working relationship with customers, brokers and government agencies.
• Principal responsibilities are those most important or most frequently performed duties.
•The incumbent will perform other duties as required.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum Education:
• Bachelor's Degree/Equivalent preferred.
Minimum Experience:
• Three (3) years' experience in international shipping/documentation requirements preferred

• Numerical Skills,
• Written & Verbal Communication Skills.
• Knowledge of local import/export laws and regulations.
