Position Summary:
Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Legal Studies Program Coordinator - Boca Raton, FL.
The Legal Studies Program Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the academic and administrative functions of the Legal Studies program. This position oversees student recruitment, advising, and admissions, guiding prospective and current students through program requirements and maintaining accurate academic records. The Coordinator also manages financial and administrative operations—including student payment processing, faculty compensation paperwork, and purchasing—while collaborating with campus partners to optimize program systems and workflows. Serving as a central resource for students, faculty, and staff, the Coordinator ensures smooth program operations and contributes to the overall success of the Legal Studies department.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Student Recruitment and Advising:
Recruit and advise prospective students via phone, email, and in‑person consultations.
Manage the student admission process.
Provide guidance to students on course selection, requirements, and program regulations.
Maintain student records, monitor student progress, and issue credentials upon successful completion.
Financial & Administrative:
Serve as Legal Studies registrar by managing and tracking student payments, coordinating and processing payments for students with external funding (i.e., student loans, CareerSource scholarships, and other sources).
Liaise with the University Cashier and the Controller’s Office personnel as needed.
Process personnel and financial transactions, including coordinating hiring activities, managing faculty compensation authorizations, preparing purchasing invoices, spend authorizations, and reimbursement requests.
Collaborate with campus staff in Continuing Education and the Office of Information Technology to effectively implement and use software applications that support the Legal Studies programs.
Provide revenue and expenditure reports to the Director.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Provide general office support as needed.

Master's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization; or bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience required.Salary:
