Ngā kōrero mo tēnei tūranga / About the role
If you’re an experienced Legal Secretary who takes pride in being organised, proactive and one step ahead, this is an opportunity to play a pivotal role within PwC Legal. PwC Legal sits within PwC New Zealand and advises clients across corporate, commercial, regulatory and advisory matters - and behind every high-quality client outcome is a practice that runs seamlessly.
Based in Tāmaki Makaurau / Auckland, you’ll work closely with our Legal Partners and wider team as a trusted right hand, supporting diary management, client coordination, document workflows, and billing and practice management processes. You’ll also contribute to onboarding and events, ensuring every client touchpoint reflects the PwC standard in a fast-paced professional services environment.
Your day-to-day could include:
Partner with Partners and the legal team to manage communications - draft emails, correspondence - and act as a key contact for clients and stakeholders.
Lead busy diaries and meeting coordination, prioritising competing demands and organising meeting logistics, VC/tech requirements, catering and bookings.
Coordinate document production through the Service Delivery Centre, raising and tracking ServiceNow requests and ensuring outputs meet PwC brand standards.
Support practice management tasks such as WIP monitoring, billing sheet preparation, invoicing coordination and creation (including complex partner ledgers) and debtor follow-up
Assist with client onboarding processes in Salesforce, including new client setup, opportunities and risk management requirements

Strong organisation and prioritisation skills - able to manage competing deadlines, shift gears when priorities change, and keep things moving.
Clear, respectful communication (written and verbal) and the ability to build positive working relationships with people at all levels.
Strong digital capability, including advanced Microsoft Office skills and a willingness to learn new systems (Salesforce/Oracle experience is helpful but not required).
