As a Legal  Counsel, you'll be working closely with business stakeholders, product counsels and other sub-teams, the Regional Legal Team ensures legal compliance across all markets while advising on potential risks and liabilities to enable informed business decisions.

<title>Main Tasks & Responsbilites:</title>

  • <point>Provide day-to-day legal support to Bolt’s businesses while ensuring compliance of products, features, and initiatives with applicable laws.</point>
  • <point>Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Product Legal, Commerce, Tax, Privacy, and Public Policy to address legal and regulatory challenges and provide advice and guidance to the local operations’ team to advance business objectives.</point>
  • <point>Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements relevant to micro-mobility, car sharing and retail operations, including property lease and licence agreements, vehicle purchase, lease and financing agreements; fleet management, maintenance and service agreements; supplier and distributor agreements for Bolt Market; partnerships, marketing, procurement and other operational contracts.</point>
  • <point>Prepare and update terms of use, and other consumer-facing documentation, improve legal processes, templates, playbooks, and self-service tools, leveraging AI and the latest legal technologies to promote efficiency and ensure ongoing compliance with all applicable laws.</point>
  • <point>Monitor legal and regulatory developments and conduct risk assessments for new features and operational changes; offering strategic, solution-oriented and proactive legal guidance to support evolving business strategies.</point>
  • <point>Manage external counsel and legal budgets for external support effectively.</point>

<title>About you:</title>

  • <point>You are an Estonian-qualified lawyer with 4–6 years of experience, preferably gained at a reputable law firm and/or within an international company, and you are based in Tallinn.</point>
  • <point>You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Estonian.</point>
  • <point>You bring a strong background in contract and commercial law, consumer protection, regulatory matters, and legal frameworks relevant to the gig economy.</point>
  • <point>You have a proactive, analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and a pragmatic, business-oriented approach, enabling you to translate legal requirements into practical, commercially grounded solutions.</point>
  • <point>You demonstrate the ability to work independently, manage multiple stakeholders, navigate complexity, and drive matters forward with discipline and a strong focus on outcomes.</point>
  • <point>ou excel at building trusted relationships across teams, functions, and cultures.</point>
