Job Summary

 

The Legal Coordinator provides complex administrative support to the organization’s global in-house legal team focused primarily on contracts, corporate governance, compliance, intellectual property, and brand protection.

Essential Functions

Description

  • Supports the administration of all internal systems used by the Legal team, including the contract management system (Ironclad), brand protection monitoring, trademark monitoring, and electronic document storage.
  • Assists Legal team members with administrative tasks as needed.
  • Reviews routine agreements on company templates. 
  • Manages and organizes corporate records and files, and maintains corporate organizational charts.
  • Facilitates full entity lifecycle management, including initial registration and annual renewals.
  • Works cross-functionally to obtain signatures on contracts, entity management documents, patents, and other important paperwork, including document legalization.
  • Conducts legal and business research as requested. 
  • Creates and prepares reports for internal stakeholders. 
  • Supports the development and improvement of standardized forms, processes, and procedures in collaboration with the Legal team.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum two (2) of experience in a business environment utilizing the required administrative skills.
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience supporting an in-house legal team desired.

Any equivalent combination of experience and education which clearly indicates the ability to perform the essential functions of the position may substitute on a year for year basis.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Experience working with a footwear/apparel company preferred.
  • Experience with contract management systems preferred.
  • Commissioned notary, or willingness to become a commissioned notary.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple tasks concurrently and be adaptable to new assignments, systems, and tools.
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Process oriented, capable of understanding, defining, and following processes with a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to build rapport with department team members and co-workers across the organization.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, quickly changing environment.

Base Salary: $29.52 - $30.46 per hour

This range represents the low and high ends of this position's anticipated base salary range. The actual base salary will depend on numerous factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, and location.
