Legal Consultant - Crypto and Fintech

 

We are currently looking for experienced Legal professionals with Crypto and Fintech experience to work with our Fortune 500 clients in Singapore!

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Crypto and Fintech (Exchange) experience
• Strong Operations and Risk Control (AML requirements) background
• Compliance and end-to-end operations experience (most important)
• Business mindset with ready knowledge

 

Responsibilities: 

• Key responsibilities include managing end to end operational processes across crypto and fintech exchange activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal control requirements, and overseeing AML, KYC, sanctions screening, and transaction monitoring frameworks.
• The role will identify, assess, and mitigate operational, financial crime, and compliance risks associated with digital asset trading, custody, settlement, and on chain transactions.
• The role will work closely with internal stakeholders including compliance, risk, technology, product, and legal teams to support audits, regulatory reviews, and supervisory engagements. This includes maintaining strong governance, policies, procedures, and documentation aligned with digital asset regulatory expectations.
• The ideal candidate will have proven experience within crypto or fintech exchange environments, with hands on exposure to digital asset operations such as client onboarding, wallet operations, transaction flows, and incident management. A strong operations and risk control background, combined with deep end to end compliance experience across the full operational lifecycle is essential.
• A business-oriented approach, strong judgment, and the ability to operate effectively in fast paced, regulated environments are essential.
