We are seeking a talented individual to join our Legal, Compliance, and Public Affairs (LCPA) team at Marsh McLennan. This role will be based in Jakarta, Indonesia. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

The Legal and Compliance Assistant will support the LCPA Indonesia team in a broad range of matters including corporate secretarial, compliance, and regulatory reporting, for Marsh and Mercer in Indonesia. You will assist with implementing legal and compliance strategies, processes, and goals, while independently managing day-to-day organizational efficiencies and other assigned tasks.

We will count on you to:

  • Organize and manage corporate secretarial and governance matters, including board compositions, meetings, resolutions, and maintaining corporate records and licenses.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support to the country LCPA team, including external and internal reporting as well as work closely with the Regional LCPA team on periodic internal reporting, template management, and compliance registers.
  • Provide support on regulatory, licensing, and compliance monitoring activities.
  • Liaise with the Global In-house Center Legal team on standard business contracts and compliance programs.
  • Assist with compliance routines such as licensing, audits, inspections, training materials, reporting, and task management.
  • Manage access to legal and compliance technology platforms and maintain core legal documents and databases.

What you need to have:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Compliance, Paralegal, or Corporate Secretarial roles.
  • Familiarity with the local culture, business customs, and legal environment in Indonesia.
  • Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure and manage time-critical issues effectively.
