[What the role is]
You will be working in the School of Health & Social Sciences to plan, develop and teach Oral Health Therapy modules for theOral Health Therapy learners at Diploma, Specialist Diploma and Advanced Diploma levels.
[What you will be working on]
- Plan, Coordinate and Teach Diploma in Oral Health Therapy students in Dental Hygiene, Dental Therapy and Health Promotion (academic teaching, simulation, and clinical training).
- Act as a role model to mentor aspiring Oral Health Therapists.
- Contribute actively to the continuous improvement of the Diploma in Oral Health Therapy curriculum.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of continuing education and training courses to in-service oral health professionals.
- Lead or support in school outreach activities, orientation programme, overseas student trips.
- Supervise and coordinate with industry partners on projects.
- Assume additional responsibilities, when required, in the School of Health & Social Sciences and Nanyang Polytechnic.
[What we are looking for]
- Part II Oral Health Therapist or Dentist registered with the Singapore Dental Council.
- At least 5 years of relevant clinical experience.
- Possesses a valid practising certificate, BCLS-AED certification, professional indemnity, and radiation user licence.
- Proficient in office skills.
- Experience in training Oral Health Therapy students in simulation and clinical environments with evidence of exposure to periodontal and paediatric case management is an advantage.
