[What the role is]
Lecturer / Senior Lecturer (Veterinary Technology)[What you will be working on]
· Design, develop, review, and deliver Continuing Education and Training (CET) programmes (both full qualifications and short courses) in veterinary–related disciplines such as animal care, veterinary nursing, animal behaviour and training.
· Develop training materials, including lesson plans, slides, assessments, and practical guides
· Identify emerging industry trends and opportunities to develop new CET courses and programmes
· Adopt innovative and learner-centric teaching methodologies, including blended and experiential learning approaches
· Design and develop e-learning content, including microlearning modules
· Monitor and evaluate course satisfaction and performance
· Implement improvements to enhance learning outcomes and participant experience
· Coordinate pre-semester planning, including timetabling, resource allocation, and course setup
· Support course promotion activities
[What we are looking for]
· Qualification in veterinary technology/veterinary nursing or its equivalent from recognised institutions.
· At least 3 to 8 years of relevant industrial experience in a vet clinic/animal hospital.
· Familiar with ‘Day One Competences’ for Veterinary Nurses.
· Have a passion for developing talents, and genuine interest to share knowledge and interact with youths and adult learners.
· Resourceful and able to work independently to meet deadlines and perform well under pressure.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Demonstrated capacity to work within a team.
· Able to work in the evenings for night classes
