Lecturer & Programmes Facilitator – Asian Culinary Institute

[What the role is]

• Individual who wish to impart knowledge and skills in the culinary training (preferably with experience in Asian cuisine) and/ or F&B operations
• Individual who wish to inspire, mentor and coach learners not just in academic pursuits but also to prepare learners to make an impactful contribution to the food industry
• Individual who will participate in industry projects to keep our curriculum at the cutting edge, ensuring our learners are equipped for the challenges and opportunities of the F&B industry
• Individual who wish to support the growth and development of the Asian Cuisine within the F&B industry through training and development

[What you will be working on]

  • Responsible for culinary and F&B operations curriculum development, delivery, project supervision, assessment setting and marking for full-time and part-time WSQ courses

  • Conduct and participate in curriculum review for continuous enhancement of learning experience in line with the Skills framework.

  • Coach and mentor adult learners in their educational and career aspirations

  • Collaborate on projects with industry partners  

  • Project management of consultancy and industry projects

  • Participate in the delivery of outreach activities to market the school and courses to potential learners

  • Perform administrative and academic duties

[What we are looking for]

  • Candidates who can effectively facilitate not just learning but also the development of curriculum

  • Have relevant qualification in culinary arts

  • Proven F&B industry experience in culinary training preferably with experience in Asian cuisines

  • Possession of ACLP or DACE qualification

  • Have project management and consultancy experience will be advantageous

  • Passionate about life-long learning

  • IT savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for general tasks. 

  • Adaptable and resilient with good troubleshooting ability.
