About the Role

We are seeking an inspiring Lecturer in Speech Pathology to deliver engaging, student-centred teaching in speech pathology across all levels and learning modes within the College. The incumbent will play an active role in planning, coordinating and evaluating topics, including taking on Topic Coordinator responsibilities when required.

A key part of the role is contributing to the ongoing review, renewal and design of innovative curricula that attract diverse student cohorts and foster creativity and critical thinking.

The role will also provide academic guidance, professional advice and meaningful support to students as they navigate their studies and plan their careers. Embracing new technologies and teaching innovations, The Lecturer will help ensure an exceptional learning experience for all.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A doctorate in a relevant field or equivalent clinical experience and professional standing in Speech Pathology.

  • Current, unconditional registration as a speech pathologist.

  • Contemporary clinical experience in Speech Pathology.

  • Demonstrated excellence in tertiary-level teaching, including clinical or simulated settings.

  • A sound understanding of pedagogical theory and modern education practices relevant to speech pathology.
