We are now recruiting the services of a Leathergood Repairer to join our Aftersales Team in our new in-house Sydney Workshop.

WHAT IMPACT YOU CAN CREATE AT CHANEL

The Leathergood Repairer will provide an exceptional level of repair support and assist in providing an inhouse repair service for a seamless Aftersales journey for our clients.

YOU ARE ENERGIZED BY

Continual learning and career development across global standards while working with leather goods, of all categories, to repair and refurbish so that they can continue to serve our clients. You will enjoy communication across all levels to support the retail teams as they promote the Chanel aftersales program.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Work within established After Sales Service guidelines to assess viability of repairing items.

  • Provide a professional assessment of all repair requests, adhering to the Global aligned service level agreement and complete appropriate documentation regarding tracking of repair items.

  • Perform technical repairs for all Leather goods and other potential categories according to company standards and guidelines.

  • Assist with inventory management of all Spare Parts and all selling Stock on Hand

  • Assist with the ordering of required spare parts for all repairs liaising with the Global After Sales Department weekly.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Professional training in the art of saddlery and/or leather craftsmanship

  • Strong knowledge and experience working with various types of leather / skins.

  • Skilled in pattern making and production methods including the processes related to the execution of a product from the design stage to the making and aftercare to ensure its highest quality is preserved.

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

  • Ability to manage relationships and expectations on various levels

  • Advanced experience in Quality of luxury leather pieces would be highly advantageous
