We are seeking a new Manager, Leasing to join Brookfield Properties in Toronto, ON. Work alongside the leasing team in overseeing and managing the leasing of office space within Brookfield Properties’ Downtown Toronto Office Portfolio (+9M square feet). The successful candidate will be an integral part of the leasing team, have strong sales skills, contribute to leasing strategy, financial analysis, broker engagement, and transaction management across the portfolio.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Present leasing opportunities to prospective tenants through proposals, correspondence, and property tours

  • Support the preparation and negotiation of lease transactions, including:

    • Responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs)

    • Drafting and negotiating offers to lease

    • Coordinating lease negotiations alongside internal stakeholders and legal counsel

    • Preparing financial analyses and deal summaries to support decision-making

  • Identify and pursue prospective tenants through targeted outreach initiatives

  • Monitor market activity and maintain accurate reporting on pipeline, prospects, and transaction status

  • Maintain active relationships with brokerage partners to ensure consistent market coverage and positioning of available space

  • Participate in weekly leasing meetings and contribute to quarterly strategy discussions

  • Assist in the preparation of the annual leasing budget and provide input on portfolio strategy

  • Collaborate with asset management, property management, marketing, finance, and legal teams to ensure disciplined transaction execution

Your Qualifications:

  • Completion of university degree required; Commercial Real Estate designation/license is considered an asset

  • 2-5 years of experience ideally in the real estate industry, with a minimum of 1-2 years of office leasing transaction experience preferred

  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint

  • Must be a team player with exceptional work ethic and adaptability

  • Service-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present effectively to various stakeholders

  • Strong sales and negotiation capabilities

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and perform in a fast-paced environment

  • Superior attention to detail, accuracy and ability to follow-up as required to meet deadlines

  • Professional, courteous, and relationship-focused approach to both internal and external stakeholders

  • Strong analytical, conceptual thinking, and problem-solving skills

The expected salary range for this role is $90,000 – 120,000 annually (exempt). Final compensation offered will be determined based on several factors including but not limited to relevant experience, education, job-related skills, and internal equity.
