Position Summary

An Opportunity has arisen to join the Spare Engine Services Team. The Service Representative is responsible for managing all Civil lease engine assets for continued serviceability and availability required to provide a lease engine service that is capable of satisfying the regulatory airworthiness authorities, stakeholder contractual obligations and the Customer Facing Business Unit business and product requirements, including internal/external supply chain relationships, ensuring the business requirements of our customers and in developing/supporting product asset management integrity to enhance customer satisfaction.

What you will be doing:

1. Work with our Asset Management company, the Customer Operations team, our On-Wing Services team and the MRO network on availability of lease engines, obtaining the appropriate lease engine technical documentation ensuring standardisation and compliance to the agreed airworthiness standards to support our customers

2. Work with the Customer Operations Team to meet the customer requirements and drive redelivery of engines to the RR lease team before Contractual term date

3. Work with the Engineering team on technical issues and Technical Variances required

4. Work with the Value Stream to align and deliver the plan to support fleet health and minimise AOGs, including new acquisitions and disposal of engines

5. Work with Logistics to deliver engines to global destinations, store them appropriately and manage preservation of our assets

6. Work with our commercial team to maximise cash generation and reduce cost

7. Work with Quality on improving our processes and driving changes to other parts of the organisation

Willingness to travel internationally with little notice and work unsociable hours including working weekend to support a global network of lease assets and global infrastructure may be needed at times.

Position Qualifications:

Competencies will generally take preference over qualifications, however as a minimum, the applicant should be educated to BTEC/HNC level standard and have worked in an area involved in aero engine and/or airframe technical records management or worked in aviation lease engine asset management for a minimum of three years. The successful candidate must have a good working knowledge of Trent family engines.

 Dealing with both internal and external customers, this individual needs to be energised by tough challenges, have good technical experience.

A strong ability to support the decision making process, implement change, drive for results and solve problems is required

Excellent communication are essential, requiring the individual to be comfortable in communicating with management of the organisation and represent the Company appropriately with external parties.

Will demonstrate a desire for continuous improvement and self-development in all of the technical aspects related to engine asset management and business management.
