You will work with a team of Learning Solutions Technologists to implement EduTech-related projects within Singapore Polytechnic. You will also be involved in the management of enterprise EduTech systems such as Learning Management System and Learning Analytics platforms and provide technical solutions to meet end-users’ teaching and learning requirements. This role will also give you an opportunity to collaborate with other technologists in other polytechnics on joint initiatives to enhance EduTech-enabled Teaching and Learning.
Responsibilities:-
Manage and/or support the end-to-end implementation and daily operations of enterprise EduTech-related project, including procurement, system implementation, service improvements, issue tracking and resolution, and technical support.
Conceptualize, and implement process and operational enhancements for EduTech platforms to increased productivity and to meet stakeholder requirements.
Conceptualize and lead implementation EduTech projects (proof-of-concepts, scale-up etc.)
Provide technical solutioning for end-users, i.e. academic staff, which includes user requirements gathering, identification of business needs, and proposing solutions to meet the requirements.
Exploration of new technologies to support SP’s key teaching and learning (T&L) initiatives including working with other institutes of higher learning on joint exploration projects on new T&L technologies.
Successful candidate will be offered a 2-year contract in the first instance.

[What we are looking for]
Relevant qualifications in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems or equivalent
Minimally 4 years of experience in the area of project management, procurement, implementation and management of enterprise-wide systems, preferably in a Civil Service/Public Service setting
Able to work in an environment using Cloud systems
Fluent in a variety of programming languages, software, and systems
Competent computing and scripting skills
Passion and interest in technologies especially EduTech
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
Strong interpersonal skills to engage with all levels of staff, including senior stakeholders to bridge user requirements and technical solutions
Strong communication skills (written and spoken)
Ability to multi-task and work within tight deadline
Ability to work both independently and in a team
Detail-oriented and highly organised
Knowledge and experience with the following would be an advantage:
Managing EduTech or Learning Analytics systems for an institution of higher learning
AWS services (Bedrock, SageMaker, Athena, RDS, ECR, ECS, EMR, Lambda, Redis, etc.).
Building and maintaining data pipelines, data wrangling and working with structure and unstructured datasets.
Developing and implementing AI applications, prototypes or POC using Large Language Models.
Sound knowledge of government security policy and compliance guidelines
