Job Description
Plays a critical role in designing, developing, and optimizing learning resources across academic programs. At the intersection of academic quality, instructional design, industry alignment, and operational efficiency, this role ensures that students have access to best-in-class, market-leading, and strategically sourced learning materials.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Minimum Qualifications
This role requires a research-focused, strategic thinker who can design, organize, and implement learning resources that effectively support adult education programs.
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Library/Information Science, Technology, Business, Health, or a related field.
Demonstrated experience selecting, evaluating, and curating learning resources to support courses, programs, or instructional initiatives (beyond assigning pre‑existing or required materials).
Proven ability to identify and recommend learning resources such as labs, simulations, hands‑on exercises, and practice activities (not limited to textbooks).
Experience conducting research for instructional use, including searching for, evaluating, and comparing learning resources from vendors or external sources.
Academic, qualitative, quantitative, or field research alone does not meet this requirement.
Experience aligning learning resources to instructional objectives, course outcomes, and student learning needs.
Ability to clearly explain prior examples of intentional resource selection and how those resources were integrated to enhance learning.
Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to support program or course‑level learning resource needs.
Preferred Qualifications
Travel
This position requires occasional travel of up to 20%, including required attendance at designated company summits (typically one to two per year). Additional travel may include conferences, visits to company locations, and other business-related events as needed. Additional travel may be assigned as needed to support business requirements.
