Learning Management System Administrator

Job Summary
LMS Administrator to manage and support end-to-end learning operations within the SABA LMS. This role is responsible for course deployment, learner support, reporting, system testing, and ensuring seamless delivery of global training programs across multiple modalities (eLearning, vILT, and ILT).

 

Key Responsibilities

LMS Administration & Course Deployment

Deploy and manage courses and classes in SABA for the Computing portfolio

Administer LMS catalog including curricula, certifications, and learning paths

Configure and publish:

Web-based self-paced training

Virtual Instructor-Led Training (vILT)

Instructor-Led Training (ILT)

 

Learner & Operational Support

 

Troubleshoot and resolve:

Course access, launch, and completion issues

Curriculum and certification completion issues

SABA login and access issues

Monitor and manage LMS service requests and escalations

Support onboarding of assessment administrators

 

Reporting & Analytics

Generate scheduled and ad-hoc reports for stakeholders

Develop custom analytics reports using SABA Analytics

Track and report:

Curriculum and certification completion

Monthly course discontinuation

Enable reporting access for external stakeholders (e.g., contact center leads, mentors)

 

Communication & Engagement

Create and publish:

LMS dashboards

Training announcements and podcast updates\

 

Content & Data Management

Maintain training source files and repository

Ensure data accuracy, version control, and compliance with content governance standards

 

System Testing & Release Support (ITG / SABA)

Test new LMS releases and features

Conduct UAT for system enhancements

Validate workflows and configurations before production rollout

 

Operational Support

Provide extended operational support during business-critical periods (e.g., holidays, peak launches)

 

System Monitoring & Business Continuity

Manage and communicate system outage notifications (Production & ITG)

Ensure minimal disruption to learning operations



Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 4-7 years of work experience, preferably in training, presentation, facilitation, consulting, or a related field or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience.
