CLA is currently seeking a Learning Experience Design Associate. This role will design engaging and effective learning solutions for all modalities, including webcasts, eLearnings, in person experiences, videos and more and for a variety of curriculums, ranging from technical content to leadership to power skills and business skills.

How you’ll create opportunities in this Learning Experience Design Associate role:

Learning Strategy & Architecture
• Assist in gathering learning needs and supporting the design of learning solutions aligned with business goals and learner profiles.

Learning Experience Design (LXD)
• Apply instructional design principles to develop digital, blended, and instructor-led learning materials.
• Create and design all modalities, from videos to job aids to learning experience conferences.
• Assist in collecting and analyzing data to measure effectiveness and recommend improvements.
• Apply User Experience (UX)/User Interface (UI) and accessibility standards to learning content.

Technology & Innovation
• Stay informed about and utilize emerging tools and trends in learning design and technology.
• Utilize AI tools in content creation.
Collaboration & Project Support
• Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) and team members to design learning content.
• Coordinate project tasks, track timelines, and communicate progress to ensure deliverables are met.

What you will need:
• 2 years' relevant experience required.
• A bachelor’s degree is required. Combination of relevant experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree.

• An advanced degree in instructional design or related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, SAM, Agile), assessment and evaluation design.
• Familiarity with eLearning and video authoring tools is required (e.g., Articulate Rise, Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, Vyond, Clipchamp).

Travel Requirements:
• This position requires <10% travel.

Factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and knowledge may impact position of pay within the range.


The wage range for this position in Minnesota: $53,700 - $93,000
The wage range for this position in Colorado: $58,400 - $97,000
The wage range for this position in New York: $70,300 - $108,000
The wage range for this position in Illinois is: $53,700 - $97,000
