Learning & Development Specialist

About the role.

The Learning & Development Specialist collaborates across L&D, HR, and business partners to design and deliver learning experiences that build capability at every level of PURE. This role blends instructional design, program execution, and learning ecosystem management.

It is ideal for someone who can think critically, maintain a high attention to detail, and bring creativity and expertise to develop learning solutions. You’ll play a critical role in strengthening our learning infrastructure while also creating engaging, modern learning solutions that reflect our brand and culture.

What You’ll Do.

Design and Deliver Learning Experiences:

  • Apply adult learning principles to assess needs, design content, and create engaging and high impact learning experiences across formats including instructor-led, e-learning, video, etc.

  • Translate business and leadership topics into clear, practical, and compelling content

  • Ensure all deliverables meet high standards for quality, clarity, and brand consistency

Manage and Optimize the Learning Ecosystem:

  • Serve as administrator for the Workday Learn, providing day-to-day support and troubleshooting. This includes responsibilities such as managing course setup, content uploads, course enrollments, and reporting

  • Own program marketing and communications to increase awareness and adoption of learning offerings

  • Design, maintain, and continuously improve The Workshop (L&D SharePoint site) as a central, user-friendly learning hub

Support and Scale Learning Program:

  • Coordinate and manage logistics for key programs, including scheduling, communications, and tracking participation and feedback

  • Support onboarding by maintaining schedules and partnering with HR and IT to deliver a consistent new hire experience

  • Administer the Tuition Reimbursement Program, including requests, approvals, and employee support

  • Track program participation and effectiveness and identify opportunities for continuous improvement

What we're looking for.

  • 3–5 years of experience in Learning & Development or a related field

  • Strong instructional design skills with experience creating content across multiple formats

  • Comfort working from concept through execution

  • A consultative mindset with the ability to build strong relationships across teams

  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills

  • High attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership over quality

  • Curiosity and a drive to continuously improve your craft

Technical Skills:

  • Experience with authoring and design tools (Articulate 360, Camtasia, Vyond, Canva, Adobe tools, or similar)

  • Experience administering or supporting a Learning Management System (Workday Learning or similar)

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools

  • Proficiency in writing, editing, and general work with AI tools (e.g. Copilot, ChatGPT, and/or Claude)
