Reporting to the Learning & Development Manager, the Learning and Development Specialist will research, design and facilitate training programs that drive growth, compliance, and performance at all levels within the organization. This role focuses on facilitating impactful learning sessions, designing innovative programs, and supporting the successful adoption of new systems and processes that align with business priorities. The job involves:
- Facilitating dynamic learning sessions in classroom, virtual, and blended environments, ensuring content is interactive, inclusive, and outcome driven
- Supporting enterprise-wide learning initiatives, such as leadership development programs and succession planning
- Researching, designing, and delivering training programs that support professional development, compliance requirements, and organizational initiatives
- Conducting needs analysis using a variety of assessment tools to validate performance, identifying skills gaps and recommending appropriate solutions
- Creating multi-media learning content including e-learning modules, videos, web resources, and print materials to enhance engagement and accessibility
- Integrating adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies into training materials
- Partnering with business units, key stakeholders, subject matter experts, and HR Operations to ensure learning solutions align with organizational goals and evolving needs
- Recommending appropriate delivery methods to optimize training experiences
- Managing projects from concept to launch including content creation, design layout, storyboard/script development and multi-media content
- Consulting with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure programs meet business needs
- Identifying current trends, technological opportunities, innovations, industry standards, ideas and best practices
- Performing LMS administrative tasks including reports and user support
- Ensuring continuous improvement of programs offered by monitoring, auditing and making appropriate adjustments. Evaluating the effectiveness of programs using a variety of tools
- Coordinating and designing follow up methods and strategy to facilitate the transfer of learning back to the job and achieve a return on investment (ROI)
- Adhering to compliance and workplace policies, internal control procedures, and AGCO directives
- Flexibility to support a 24/7 operation
The ideal candidate has:
- Human Resources certification or designation preferred
- 3–5 years of experience in Human Resources, Learning & Development, Training, or Organizational Development
- Proven track record in facilitating interactive learning sessions for diverse audiences (in-person and virtual)
- Experience designing and delivering compliance training programs and onboarding initiatives preferred
- Hands-on experience supporting new system rollouts (e.g., Workday, time and attendance systems, or other enterprise platforms)
- Demonstrated ability to create multi-media learning content and manage projects from concept to delivery
- Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to align learning solutions with business priorities
- A thorough understanding of our corporate values, and the ability to live these values during all interactions and decisions
- Strong analytical and project management skills and an understanding of change management principles
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
