Learning & Development Intern

Job Description

Principle Objective of Position

The Learning & Development (L&D) Intern supports the execution and evaluation of the site’s capability-building strategy. This role works closely with business leaders, HR Business Partners (HRBP), and cross‑functional teams to help develop the skills needed to achieve site business goals.

Reporting Line

Reports to: Learning & Development Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain learning structures, records, and performance metrics within the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Support the planning and execution of learning needs analysis; provide guidance to Business Process Owners (BPOs) and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) throughout the process.
  • Assist in the design and development of learning programs and training content.
  • Coordinate and implement learning initiatives, ensuring effective communication with key stakeholders.
  • Support the management of onboarding, GMP/EHS, role‑based, and qualification training programs.
  • Maintain learning documentation in accordance with the site’s record retention policies.
  • Evaluate learning programs using appropriate measurement methods and recommend improvements.
  • Contribute to site KPI performance through effective learning interventions.
  • Ensure full compliance with site safety, quality requirements, and relevant policies and standards in daily work.

Internal: Site Leadership Team, Supervisors, Staff, and Shop Floor employees

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required; majors in Industrial Pharmacy or Psychology are preferred.
  • Open to fresh graduates; a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in English (verbal and written) for daily communication.
  • Strong attention to detail with good organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
