Job Summary
The Learning Consultant – Enterprise Sales is a consultative role responsible for the strategy, governance, and impact of sales professional learning across the organization. This role combines strategic advisory partnership with end-to-end program ownership, ensuring sales learning is cohesive, scalable, and aligned to enterprise priorities and revenue outcomes.
The Learning Consultant partners with sales leaders, business lines learning consultants, and Global Learning & Development (GL&D) teams to identify performance needs, translate them into a unified learning strategy, and deliver measurable improvements in sales capability, readiness, and performance. This role influences enterprise direction, aligns stakeholders across revenue lines, and ensures consistency in experience and standards while allowing for appropriate business-line customization
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise sales learning strategy & program ownership
· Own the end-to-end sales professional learning program, including strategy, structure, governance, and outcomes
· Develop and maintain a clear, multi-year learning strategy for sales professionals that aligns to enterprise priorities and revenue-line needs
· Establish a programmatic, enterprise-wide approach to sales training that balances consistency with appropriate business-line customization
· Ensure learning experiences across revenue lines connect to a coherent sales capability framework rather than fragmented, one-off solutions
Consultation & partnership
· Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with sales and business leaders and serve as a strategic consultant to revenue lines learning leaders and business lines leaders (as appropriate) to understand performance priorities and capability gaps
· Lead structured discovery and diagnostic conversations to identify root causes of performance gaps, including learning and non‑learning factors.
· Guide stakeholders toward enterprise-aligned solutions while managing trade-offs between local needs and enterprise standards
· Act as a connector across sales leadership, GL&D, and HR to drive shared ownership and clarity
Program design, delivery & governance
· Translate enterprise sales strategy into structured learning journeys, programs, and experiences for sales professionals
· Partner with instructional designers, facilitators, and subject matter experts to ensure solutions align to the strategy and to align resources and execution
· Establish governance routines, prioritization mechanisms, and decision forums to maintain focus and momentum
· Ensure programs are scalable, sustainable, and integrated into how sales professionals learn and perform over time
Measurement, evaluation & impact
· Define success metrics tied to sales capability, readiness, and business outcomes
· Apply formal measurement and evaluation approaches aligned to ISO standards (e.g., effectiveness, efficiency, and impact)
· Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to assess program performance and inform continuous improvement
· Communicate impact through clear, executive-ready insights and storytelling
Basic Qualifications
· Six or more years of learning and development, HR, business, or managerial experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
· Demonstrated experience owning complex, cross‑business learning programs with enterprise impact
· Strong consulting skills with the ability to influence peers and leaders
· Deep understanding of sales enablement, capability development, or performance improvement
· Expertise in adult learning principles and modern, blended learning approaches
· Experience using formal measurement frameworks and data to drive decisions
· Strong business acumen with the ability to connect learning strategy to revenue outcomes
Location Expectations
This role requires working from a U.S. Bank hub location three (3) or more days per week.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $98,175.00 - $115,500.00U.S. Bank will consider qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records for employment.
