At our Reynosa plant in Mexico, we are committed to the highest standards in the production of disposable medical products for dialysis treatments. With a dedicated team of more than 3,000 employees across four manufacturing sites, the plant focuses on manufacturing essential components such as hemodialysis disposables, peritoneal dialysis (PD) disposables, hemodialysis (HD) machines, and PD cycler machines.

The Lean Manufacturing Superintendent is responsible for driving organizational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with FMCNA’s mission, strategic goals, and compliance requirements. This role leads the deployment of Lean Manufacturing systems across the Reynosa plant, ensuring improvement initiatives deliver measurable results while meeting internal standards, regulatory requirements, and global best practices.
Responsibilities:
Estructure:
- Work directly with management to stablish and maintain a system to identify and
- prioritize the projects/opportunities of improvement.
- Lead projects when necessary to the business.
- Reconcile the improvement processes of the Fresenius Plants (e.g. Argentina, Colombia, Germany, Turkey, Italy, etc.).
- Maintain and update the Lean Politics according to the requirements of the Company.
- Adhere to the Lean Evaluation matrix to coordinate the annual efforts.
- Help, coordinate or lead research to solve general problems of the Plant (raw material, finished product or administrative problems).
Management and Leadership:
- Manage the biweekly meetings of A3 and support the personnel with their projects and with the use of Lean tools.
- Coordinate the 5s initiative throughout the Plant.
- Coordinate and lead the “Tollgate” meetings of the “Belts” program.
- Lead meetings “Comité de Liderazgo de Lean en Reynosa”.
- Coordinate and lead the “Layouts” of the Plant when it is necessary.
- Manage project saving Belt and A3 (annually and MIPs).
Learning and Development:
- Work with Lean Red to identify and coordinate the learning of the employee, support in the certification for Lean, DMAIC, and other continuous improvement methods that facilitate the objectives of the Plant.
- Develop and facilitate improvement activities (Lean, Kaizen, Process Flow map, etc.) to identify and perform improvement; as well as developing skills in others to perform the same.
- Provide “Yellow Belts” training or “Green Belt” to promote the Lean culture and create savings for the Plant.
- Guide and help the Belts with concepts, methods, and tools using the data to help with projects, mitigate the obstacles and ensure the benefits on time of the project.
- Search new training for employees that help with the improvement of processes (administrative or manufacture, when required).
Qualifications:
- Engineering or bachelor’s degree (preferably related to business or projects) or an equivalent combination between education and experience
- Business master’s degree or Project management certification is an extra.
- Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in a setting using improvement technics in
- processes.
- To be certified as Green Belt (inside or outside Fresenius). Having a Black Belt certificate is an extra.
- To have completed successfully several Lean or DMAIC projects.
- Analytics and improvement.
- Leadership to improve and motivate work teams. As well as foster positive relations with team members and nonmembers.
- Work with all organizational levels.
- Project administration.
- Knowledge of statics.
- Presentation of information, written and communication.
- Bilingual Spanish/English
