Job Description Summary

The person in this role will be responsible for driving process improvement activities for our Florence, SC manufacturing site. They will work very closely with the Plant Manager, Site Lean Leader, and production teams to accelerate progress towards achieving the site vision, and deploying the Imaging Supply Chain Lean strategy. They will be responsible for increasing the site’s Lean maturity, building the team’s Lean and problem solving capabilities, and delivering business results for KPIs in safety, quality, delivery, and cost. This role will work cross functionally to deploy standards, influence change, improve processes, and deliver meaningful results to the business.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Deploy and improve standard work, visual controls daily management, and problem solving

  • Lead and facilitate kaizen events, value stream mapping sessions to build a continuous improvement culture and increase customer value

  • Lead, facilitate and influence sustainable process and system improvements cross functionally

  • Leverage Lean tools and principles to drive business results for safety, quality, delivery and cost KPIs

  • Coach and develop people to build Lean and problem-solving capabilities, with a focus not only on tools and principles, but also on leadership behaviors

  • Drive consistent Lean Transformation and model, teaching and applying the GEHealthCare Heartbeat Business System

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree and minimum 3-5 years of progressive work experience in manufacturing environment or OMLP ( Operations Management Leadership Program) graduate

  • Demonstrated experience in LEAN

  • Proven experience in influencing, leading teams and driving change
