Role Summary
This role leads the entire recruiting cycle for executive positions, providing expertise and leadership to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and equity. This role also encompasses talent acquisition strategy and recruiting, including talent evaluation and screening, job advertising, talent prospecting, and workforce planning to meet current and future organizational needs.
Core Responsibilities
Develops plans for sourcing executive-level candidates, conducts the interview process, and extends offers to selected candidates. Responds to inquiries about executive recruitment activities and status of job vacancies.
Performs executive interviews, tests, and reference checks; selects candidates and provides feedback to unsuccessful candidates based on the pre-selection criteria and executive recruitment policies.
Prepares executive job offer materials in accordance with job specifications.
Coaches team members on the use of advanced candidate sourcing techniques. Develops internal and external executive search strategies.
Counsels hiring managers regarding executive recruitment strategies and practices that support the goals and direction of the organization.
Oversees talent evaluation and screening by analyzing resumes, conducting structured interviews, and ensuring consistency with organizational standards and selection criteria.
Develops and manages executive-level job advertisements and postings across internal and external platforms, ensuring accurate representation of job specifications.
Builds and maintains a strong talent pipeline through active networking, market mapping, and participation in leadership and industry events.
Partners with business leaders to forecast executive hiring needs and align recruitment strategies with long-term workforce and succession plans.
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum 8 years of total experience, including at least 5 years in recruiting or executive search.
Bachelor’s degree (B.Com/ BBA/B.E./B.Tech) in relevant fields such as Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent; a Master’s degree or diploma in HR or Business Management is a plus.
Proven expertise in executive sourcing, interviewing, talent pipeline development, workforce planning, and stakeholder management, with the ability to design and execute strategic recruitment initiatives.

This role is based in Hyderabad, Telangana at Vanguard’s India office. Only qualified external applicants will be considered.
