Role Overview 

This role is central to how we build future leaders, from campus talent through supervisors and aspiring managers. You’ll design and deliver high impact leadership development experiences that build readiness, skills, and confidence while directly supporting business performance. 

Acting as both a strategic partner and hands-on program leader, you’ll translate business needs into engaging learning journeys that blend cohort programs, rotations, mentoring, and real-world application. You’ll manage programs end to end, partner closely with business and HR leaders, use data to continuously improve outcomes, and ensure learning experiences scale with quality and impact. 

This is an opportunity to create programs that go beyond training, shaping how future leaders think, grow, and lead. 

Key Responsibilities 

Program Design & Development 

  • Structure comprehensive development programs including cohort-based initiatives, rotational assignments, mentoring components, and developmental projects 

  • Design multi-module learning journeys with clear competency frameworks, progression pathways, and measurable outcomes 

  • Pilot innovative approaches including adaptive learning, gamification, microlearning, and social learning platforms 

  • Continuously evaluate and enhance program design based on feedback, impact data, and market trends 

  • Conduct needs assessments using surveys, interviews, focus groups, competency gap analysis, and performance data review 

  • Identify critical skill gaps, development priorities, and opportunities for targeted leadership interventions 

  • Serve as internal consultant to business leaders on leadership development strategies and solutions 

 

Program Operations & Execution 

  • Manage full program lifecycle from needs assessment through evaluation: scoping, design, vendor selection, delivery, and impact measurement 

  • Coordinate rotational assignments including placement planning, stakeholder alignment, progress tracking, and transition support 

  • Oversee cohort-based programs ensuring consistent participant experience, timely completion, and achievement of learning objectives 

  • Manage virtual learning sessions: platform configuration, facilitator briefings, engagement strategies, technical support, and recording 

  • Coordinate complex schedules for participants, facilitators, executives, and guest speakers across multiple concurrent programs 

  • Maintain program documentation: participant rosters, attendance records, completion tracking, certification issuance, and compliance records 

  • Track participant career progression and long-term program impact on retention, promotion rates, and advancement 

  • Address participant questions, concerns, and technical issues with responsive, service-oriented approach 

  • Foster cohort connection and peer learning through networking events, discussion forums, collaborative projects, and alumni communities 

  • Define and track key performance indicators: participation rates, completion rates, satisfaction scores, competency gains, behavior change, and business impact 

  • Collect and analyze program data using LMS reports, survey platforms, assessment tools, and HR analytics systems 

  • Facilitate / co-facilitate leadership development workshops, seminars, and learning sessions for diverse audiences (emerging leaders, mid-level managers) 

 

Stakeholder Engagement & Partnership 

  • Partner with business unit leaders, functional heads, and senior executives to identify leadership development needs aligned with strategic priorities 

  • Engage program sponsors, executive champions, mentors, and coaches to ensure active participation and program advocacy 

  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings to review program design, gather input, communicate progress, and celebrate participant achievements 

  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Succession Planning, and Compensation teams to integrate programs with talent processes 

  • Work with Communications to promote programs, share success stories, and build organizational awareness of development opportunities 

  • Prepare executive briefings, presentations, and business cases for leadership development investments 

  • Communicate program outcomes and ROI to senior leadership through data-driven storytelling and impact dashboards 

 

Qualifications 

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in leadership development or talent management, including at least 3 years within the financial services sector (preferred). 

  • Ability to use data and business intelligence tools to identify skill gaps and measure the effectiveness of programs and inform decisions. 

  • Advanced financial literacy and a solid grasp of key business metrics (budget, ROI, and financial levers). 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, or related field (preferred).

  • Project planning and execution across multiple initiatives, including timeline development, milestone tracking, risk and dependency management, and coordination amid competing priorities, resource constraints, and shifting deadlines. 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives that demonstrate program impact, influence stakeholders without direct authority, and engage senior leaders with confidence and executive presence. 

  • Highly organized and detail oriented, with the ability to manage complex, dependencyheavy programs, prioritize across concurrent initiatives. 

  • Demonstrates strong analytical, creative, and strategic thinking to diagnose root causes, solve complex challenges, adapt to fast changing environments, and make sound decisions while balancing competing stakeholder priorities and business objectives. 

  • Brings strong business acumen and a consultative, change aware approach to learning, enabling influence without authority.

Technical Requirements 

  • Experience using workplace technologies such as 

  • MS Office including intermediate Copilot/ChatGPT 

  • SharePoint Design Skills 

  • Power Automate (basic workflows) and Apps (basic forms and integrations) 

  • Familiarity with Workday Learning courses and basic system navigation (a plus)
