We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Warehouse Optimization Specialist to drive operational excellence and process optimization within our warehouse facilities. Key responsibilities of the job include but are not limited to on-floor data analysis for process improvement, inventory optimization, warehouse layout and space utilization and workforce management. They will be the champions for continuous optimization and ensure standardization is firmly embedded into the working habits of the Warehouse Operation. They will play a pivotal role in enhancing on-floor efficiency, productivity, and quality across the network of warehouse operations.
Essential Duties
Include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Lead comprehensive assessments of current warehouse processes to identify inefficiencies, physical bottlenecks, and workflow disruptions directly impacting floor-level productivity and cost-effectiveness.
- Drive improvements surrounding warehouse space based off optimizing inventory levels and champion effort to manage offsite inventory at Third-Party Warehouses
- Serve as primary stakeholder for MSN Warehouse Organization, ensuring new initiatives, product lines, and process changes are effectively implemented, including training on new initiatives.
- Optimize the physical layout of the warehouses for efficient material flow, maximize space utilization, and facilitate easy access to goods to support the operation.
- Partner with Operations Business Systems analysts to identify and implement technical solutions that enhance warehouse processes and system integration.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop, enhance and refine departmental SOPs and KPIs to meet growing business demand.
- Develop change management plans and oversee their execution to minimize disruption during process improvement implementations.
- Stay informed on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to warehouse operations and process improvement.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by training and mentoring on-floor teams on lean principles and tools.
- Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork.
- Support and comply with the company’s Quality Management System policies and procedures.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
- Ability to act with an inclusion mindset and model these behaviors for the organization.
- Ability to work designated schedule.
- Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 50% of a typical working day.
- Ability to work on a computer and phone simultaneously.
- Ability to use a telephone through a headset.
- Ability and means to travel 20% between Madison locations.
- Ability to travel 10% of working time away from work location. May include overnight/weekend travel.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field.
- 7 years of experience leading warehouse operations or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Advanced knowledge of Warehouse Operations and process improvement initiatives.
- Proven track record with successfully implementing improvement initiatives in a warehouse environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems and how they interact with daily operations.
- Advanced knowledge of Warehouse Operations and process improvement
Preferred Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certified.
- Experience within a GMP regulated facility.

Salary Range:
$112,000.00 - $190,000.00
The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US - WI - Madison on a full-time basis. In addition, this position is bonus eligible.
