Lead, Warehouse

Ensure timely receipt of materials and components in JDE to allow information availability for other site functions, in compliance with local EH&S guidelines, Edwards procedures, and other applicable regulations, as well as fulfillment of customers requests for shipment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee shipping and receiving activities within warehouse. Lead the work activities of shift warehouse staff in daily order fulfillment of duties. Provide guidance and feedback to lower level staff, including overseeing training activities
• Ensure the job functions in the warehouse are in compliance with established work instructions and adherence with SOPs, including recording traceable information on device history records and may enter information into JDE, or other systems
• Monitor material usage on daily basis, liaise with vendors to replenish materials to ensure production continuity. Communicate usage abnormity to planner/Supervisor
• Accurately retrieve JDE data and propose solutions, and also provide reports to management as requested
• Manage periodic cycle counts and audits across warehouse
• Oversee in receiving materials and components in JDE and all other systems, store materials in designated warehouse locations to facilitate ease of access and retrieval based on the purchasing priority list, and provide receiving documentation to finance for payment to vendors while working independently at the highest levels of quality and productivity
• Identify improvement opportunities and lead projects impacting the full warehouse
• Other incidental duties: General work area housekeeping and visual inspection of storage containers

Education and Experience:
Other: in Diploma or equivalent, 2 Years years experience of previous related experience, specifically in a warehouse environment Required or
Other: in NITEC, 4 Years years experience of previous related experience, specifically in a warehouse environment Required or
Secondary Education 6 Years years experience of previous related experience, specifically in a warehouse environment Required and
Other: Experience with handling of chemicals Preferred

Additional Skills:
• Proficient computer skills, including MS Office Suite and/or manufacturing system (e.g., JDE)
• Strong English language skills, including reading, comprehending, speaking and writing
• Excellent communication skills, e.g., providing performance feedback and work instructions
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, coach others, and transfer knowledge
• Must be able to promote and work in a team environment, including exchanging work methodology feedback and other information related to improving performance of required tasks and with minimum supervision by following detailed established work instructions
• Ability to accurately perform complex work requiring problem solving related to material picking, sorting, and cycle counting, including JDE system operation and updates
• Sufficient knowledge of all work routines at all levels to enable the direct performance of work activities if needed
• Ensure all equipment is maintained in compliance with regulatory and safety requirements
• Strict attention to detail and accuracy
• Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
