Job Title: Lead Veterinary Surgeon
Salary: Up to £67,500 per annum, depending on experience.
Location: Gables Vets, First Lane, Hessle, HU139HD
Job Type: Permanent, full-time (flexible working patterns can be discussed)
Hours: 40 hours over 4-5 days with a 1:3 Saturday rota (8.30am-1pm), no nights, we have a dedicated night team! Bank holidays on a rota (TOIL).
We are seeking a Lead Vet to line manage a wonderful team of up to 6 vets, with the support of a Practice Manager, and Clinical Director. The role will have a clinical focus, with 1 days per week admin time.

At Gables vets we champion our primary care vets and the fantastic service we offer for routine and first opinion caseloads. We try to keep as much of our caseload in house to provide clients with consistent care across the group. We work closely with Wicstun, to run additional in-house CPD events.
The Gables Veterinary Centre based in the wonderful city of Hull which was city of culture 2017. We have excellent travel links, access to good schools and beautiful countryside. Hull is a modern city steeped in years of history and there is lots to do locally whether you enjoy the great outdoors or prefer the hustle and bustle of the city.
