You’re a strategic partner who thrives on building and optimizing vendor relationships. As Lead Vendor Management Services, you’ll take charge of developing and implementing strategies that ensure our vendors not only meet, but exceed, AT&T’s quality and performance standards. Your analytical mindset and collaborative approach will help guide key decisions, foster continuous improvement, and ensure our organization’s goals are realized through strong, effective partnerships.
What you’ll do
- Oversee the asset recovery process, developing monetization and recycling strategies though vendor management and cross functional collaboration.
- Design and implement Quality Management Systems (QMS) to monitor and elevate vendor performance, supporting continuous improvement and contractual compliance.
- Deliver clear, actionable analysis by publishing monthly performance reports and executive dashboards, providing essential insights for decision-makers.
- Lead regular performance meetings with suppliers, identify performance gaps, establish corrective actions, and track progress toward resolution.
- Collaborate closely with sourcing leads and cross-functional teams to align performance measures with contract terms and organizational objectives.
- Identify and escalate critical performance issues, develop solutions to complex challenges, and contribute to the ongoing development of organizational strategies.
- Mentor less experienced team members and champion best practices across the vendor management function.
What you’ll need
- Proven experience developing and implementing quality management systems for vendor oversight.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable vendor contracts and agreements.
- Advanced analytical and reporting skills, with proficiency in dashboard development and performance metrics.
- Ability to lead performance reviews, drive corrective actions, and manage high-stakes vendor relationships.
- Experience collaborating across sourcing, procurement, and cross-functional teams to deliver results.
- Demonstrated ability to resolve complex issues and provide strategic insights to senior leadership.
What you’ll bring
- 5+ years of related vendor management, procurement, or supply chain experience (required).
- Recognized expertise in managing vendor performance and leading strategic projects.
- Experience influencing executive decisions and implementing long-term plans.
- Proven ability to mentor staff and collaborate with senior leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired.
- Professional certification in vendor management, supply chain, or related field required in some areas.

Our Lead Vendor Management Services earn between $105,600-$158,400 USD Annual. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
