WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Nike Global Security seeks an ambitious, experienced, and organized professional to lead the Threat Monitoring Program. As the Threat Monitoring Program Lead, you will have the opportunity to employ your exceptional analytical, written, and communication skills to support cross-functional workstreams helping to protect Nike’s people, products, and property, and empower sports biggest moments. Your abilities to create and operate against detailed objectives, organize and plan resources around common goals, and manage complex processes will enable the success of both the Global Security team and the company more broadly.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON

You will help lead and develop the Threat Monitoring Program within Global Security. In this role you will:

  • Facilitate the transition of key threat monitoring and protective intelligence programs/processes into Nike’s Global Security Operations Center, designing workflows that can be operationalized within a 24/7/365 environment.
  • Employ your analytical expertise and project/program management skills to grow our capabilities; innovating on the technologies our team uses today and keeping a pulse on those used throughout the industry to ensure Nike maintains a competitive advantage.
  • Deliver qualitative and quantitative risk/threat assessments, providing visibility to known or emerging trends and risks, affecting a constantly evolving range of topics.
  • Approach existing and new lines of work through the lens of both program lead and experienced analyst.
  • Influence enterprise decision making at the highest levels, and help reduce risk to Nike’s people, products, and properties.  

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH

In this role you will report to the Director of the Global Security Operations Center and sit alongside critical enterprise security programs covering subject matter across crisis management, workplace violence prevention, protective services, traveler security, and facility access. You will work cross-functionally with teammates across the enterprise including but not limited to Global Safety and Security, Global Intelligence, Loss Prevention, Global Investigations, Business Continuity, Global Communications, Legal, Human Resources and Technology.

WHAT WILL YOU BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Emergency Management, Security Management, Business Administration or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, 
    experience or training
  • 5+ years relevant, professional experience in analytical and/or research role in any of the following or related fields: protective intelligence, security operations, business operations, corporate communications, and/or investigations. 
  • 2+ years leadership experience in relevant field.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, 24/7/365 environment, to include working outside of normal business hours, as necessary.
  • Project/Program management experience is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of quantitative analysis and data-driven communications.
  • Proficiency with Physical Security Intelligence and Threat Monitoring is preferred.
  • Fluently read, speak and write the English language is required, additional language a plus.
  • Willing to relocate to Portland, OR area.
