The Lead, Technology Solutions devises an effective strategy for executing and delivering on IT business initiatives for the Epic implementation. The Lead, Technology Solutions works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.

The Lead, Technology Solutions acts as a liaison and collaborates with business and functional stakeholders to identify and deliver strategic enablement solutions. This role advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment-specific) on matters of significance. It exercises independent judgment and decision-making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, working under minimal supervision and requiring analysis of variable factors to determine the best course of action.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a primary liaison between technology teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment of solutions with organizational goals.
  • Lead coordination efforts across cross-functional teams to deliver technology solutions effectively and on schedule.
  • Develop and implement an end-to-end testing strategy for Epic systems, ensuring comprehensive validation of workflows, integrations, and data integrity.
  • Oversee planning, execution, and reporting of testing activities, including user acceptance testing (UAT) and regression testing.
  • Provide strategic guidance on technology enablement initiatives, advising executives on segment-specific functional strategies.
  • Exercise independent judgment in analyzing complex issues and determining optimal solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements throughout solution delivery.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing large-scale system implementations or delivering complex functionality across enterprise platforms
  • Solid understanding of operations, technology, communications and processes
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, across technical and non-technical audiences
  • Possess 5 + years of progressive experience leading continuous improvement efforts, evaluating existing systems and implementing process improvements.
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Epic implementation experience or proven track record in managing large-scale system implementations across enterprise environments
  • Proven experience utilizing Azure DevOps (ADO), Jira, and qTest for test management, issue tracking, and project coordination

  • WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high-speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.
  • A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.  
  • Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role.
  • A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

As part of our hiring process, we will be using an exciting interviewing technology provided by HireVue, a third-party vendor. This technology provides our team of recruiters and hiring managers an enhanced method for decision-making.

Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


 

$117,600 - $161,700 per year


 

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
