About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Technology Business Systems Consultant in Lending Solutions Group as part of Commercial Banking. As a member of the Production Support team, he/she will provide Tier3 production support to Loan IQ users and downstream consumers of Loan IQ data. This team Member will be a member of The Loan IQ production support team (“Production support”), within Commercial Banking. The Production Support team provides front line business application support to the Loan IQ user community by researching and responding to requests related to Loan IQ and associated processes and reporting.  Production support serves as the liaison between the end users and technology and is responsible for ownership of each request throughout the lifecycle of the request.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead complex initiatives to provide technological solutions with broad impact for cross functional businesses and technology teams
  • Act as a key participant in providing strategic business solutions to companywide technology initiatives
  • Evaluate highly complex business problems and provide subject matter knowledge proficiency for technology initiatives
  • Define and lead detailed research on business and technology requests to develop efficient and accurate functional requirements
  • Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of domain and technology applications, and which influence companywide technology solutions
  • Lead project or systems documentation, and monitor and manage project schedules and deliverables
  • Collaborate and consult with business and technology teams to provide comprehensive technological solutions for complex business problems
  • Ensure communication and information flow between business and technology teams


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Business Systems Data and Business Systems Designing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of overall Business Systems / Technology experience, with deep specialization in Loan IQ and Commercial Lending platforms, demonstrated through production support, analysis, testing, or implementation roles.
  • Significant hands‑on experience (4–8+ years) supporting Loan IQ operations, including production support, issue analysis, testing, and commercial lending workflows.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting commercial lending platforms, preferably Loan IQ, in production support, analysis, testing, or implementation roles
  • Strong understanding of commercial lending and Loan Accounting processes, including syndications, loan trading, origination, and servicing activities
  • Proven SQL skills, including the ability to analyze data and develop or interpret complex queries for investigation and resolution of production issues
  • Experience acting as a liaison between business, operations, technology, and application vendors to troubleshoot and resolve production issues
  • Experience coordinating requirements, testing, and implementation for medium to large‑scale enterprise initiatives with multiple dependencies
  • Hands‑on experience working in Agile delivery environments, including backlog refinement, sprint ceremonies, and defect management
  • Familiarity with testing and defect tracking tools such as ALM and JIRA
  • Exposure to Loan IQ APIs and downstream data consumers is preferred
  • Demonstrated experience with vendor upgrades, enhancements, data fixes, and production releases
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain complex issues to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • Experience tracking milestones, key deliverables, and operational metrics


Job Expectations:

  • Provide Loan IQ production support, partnering with operations users, technology teams, and vendors to investigate and resolve issues
  • Act as a primary point of contact for complex production incidents, including root‑cause analysis and coordination of fixes
  • Support testing activities for vendor upgrades, enhancements, data fixes, and production deployments
  • Assist in identifying process improvements and operational efficiencies within production support workflows
  • Coordinate with business and technology partners to ensure timely communication and resolution of issues
  • Support documentation of system behaviors, operational procedures, and knowledge articles
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced team members
  • Review and analyze complex product lines, services, and data flows to ensure stability and accuracy
  • Understanding and Application of AI Tools: Ability to leverage AI platforms (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, Tachyon, Agentspace) for routine tasks such as summarizing information, drafting content, and analyzing data, while maintaining appropriate human oversight.
  • Critical Thinking: Ability to interpret AI‑generated outputs, validate insights, and apply sound judgment in business and risk decisions.
  • Responsible AI Use: Awareness of ethical considerations, data privacy, security, and regulatory compliance when using AI‑enabled solutions.
  • Adaptability and Continuous Learning: Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with emerging technologies and AI capabilities.
