CLA is currently seeking a Lead Technical Writer to join our growing internal IT team.
How you’ll create opportunities in this Lead Technical Writer position:
- Lead the develop of documentation for all CLA applications.
- Oversee CLA’s internal ‘Wiki,’ ensuring business groups have easy access to critical information, artifacts, and onboarding materials.
- Review technical and business documentation, including escalation playbooks, knowledge articles, and process documentation.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather information and understand technical concepts.
- Collaborate closely with technical teams, business groups, and leadership to ensure documentation meets diverse user needs.
- Review documentation for clarity, consistency, and adherence to style guidelines.
- Solicit feedback from users, support teams, and other stakeholders to improve documentation continuously.
- Ensure that technical documentation complies with relevant industry standards, regulations, and firm policies.
- Responsible for documentation strategies, ensuring clarity and usability for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Develop documentation plans outlining the scope, objectives, and timelines for creating and updating technical documentation.
- Lead and mentor junior technical writers, providing guidance and support.
Requirements
- 6 years of relevant experience required. as a technical writer
- Bachelor's degree is required. A combination of relevant experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
