Overview
The Operations, Network and Employee Digital Experience (ONE) team is looking for a Lead Technical Program Manager to drive our customer experience strategy forward by consistently innovating and problem-solving. The ideal candidate is passionate about the customer experience journey, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset.


Role
The ideal candidate will act in the capacity of a Program Manager with responsibilities of managing workstreams from end-to-end, to successfully deliver objectives for our customers and business partners. Experience in project management and agile scrum practices along with an attention to detail will be critical to the success of this role.

In this client-facing position, you will:

• Plan, execute, and deliver projects from inception to completion related to a known technology, product, or program. Describes and maintains the integrated plan that accounts for internal/external dependencies, differing delivery approaches, numerous constraints, and contingency for unplanned delays
• Secure resources, scopes efforts, outlines priorities and establishes delivery milestones
• Proactively manage the end-to-end delivery of engineering work through the organization and all dependent organizations, reporting out progress, ensuring dependencies are covered, overseeing the gaps between teams, processes, and systems, while removing all blocking issues leading to a successful delivery. Accelerates progress by driving crisp, timely decisions
• Serve as a first point of contact for projects and the source of truth for project status, and be able to communicate with confidence 3+ levels up
• Transform raw thoughts into clear and concise communications; provide accurate information and associated data about the state of the project to the right audience at the right time; runs effective meetings
• Have experience in and understand industry technologies; understand their programs, products, or technology domains; possess sufficient depth/credibility to be effective with teams they work with; competently represent team’s services to stakeholders and other teams; bring developers or SMEs to meetings as appropriate to discuss details
• Deliver independently but will occasionally seek direction from peers/managers
• Posses skills in forming good working relationships with engineers, managers, and peers
• Optimize previously defined approaches for a team or limited area; demonstrate improvements using data; utilize department mechanisms (i.e. retrospectives, staff meetings, status meetings) to describe and drive continuous improvements


All About You
The ideal candidate for this position should:

· Possess skills managing complex projects with a minimum of five years of experience
· Have familiarity with project management tools and processes
· Have experience with agile frameworks for managing complex workstreams
· Must be able to work independently with minimal oversight to deliver business goals
· Knowledge working with Atlassian Jira and BMC Remedy is highly desirable

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in Canada, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive pay based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program. Pay Ranges

Remote - Ontario, Canada: $121,000 - $169,000 CAD
