Role Overview:

The Lead Technical Product Manager for Currently Media & Advertising is responsible for executing the end-to-end strategy and optimization of digital advertising and campaign operations across the Currently consumer-facing digital properties – including Currently.com, consumer email and portal experiences, and ATT.com.

This role serves as the advertising operations lead for AT&T’s strategic partnership with Yahoo, working collaborative to enable joint monetization plans and optimize ad stack performance. The Lead is also responsible for the campaign development and execution of all direct and programmatic inventory enabled on AT&T’s digital storefront, att.com   This position will lead advertising operations, reporting, and analytics with a focus on improving average revenue per user and driving advertising demand stability.

This is a high-impact, results-oriented role that blends business leadership, partner management, and digital media expertise. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in ad monetization, campaign execution, ad stack operations & development, and digital content strategy—along with a proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence both internal teams and external partners to optimize digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary ad operations lead and counterpart to Yahoo for Currently, managing the collaborative advertising roadmap across Currently.com, AT&T’s portal and email experiences, and ATT.com.
  • Execute advertising monetization strategy and campaign performance across AT&T’s digital properties, with a focus on increasing ARPU, user engagement, and revenue contribution from digital media.
  • Develop and manage an ongoing pipeline of campaign and advertising initiatives in collaboration with Yahoo, including new ad product testing, performance optimization, and operational improvements.
  • Oversee site performance reporting, user engagement trends, campaign analytics, and yield analysis to evaluate advertising effectiveness, identify UX and performance concerns, and adjust levers in real-time.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders—including Media, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Product, and Analytics—to ensure campaign success, revenue alignment, and strategic integration.
  • Ensure operational excellence and partner accountability through consistent measurement, forecasting, and reporting on advertising KPIs.  Own relationship with internal partners for all AT&T FP&A activities.
  • Represent AT&T’s digital media business interests in leadership forums and external partner conversations, providing strategic insights and influencing future roadmap development.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in digital media, advertising operations, or campaign management, with a strong track record of driving revenue and performance through ad monetization.
  • Proven success in managing external media or technology partners, ideally in a digital advertising or publisher environment.
  • Expertise in ad operations and campaign planning, execution, and optimization across desktop, mobile web, and email.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in advertising platforms, new technologies, analytics tools, and reporting systems.
  • Exceptional collaboration, communication, and organizational skills, with experience managing cross-functional initiatives.

Preferred:

  • Experience working with large digital publishers or within a joint venture media structure.
  • Familiarity with ad tech ecosystems, programmatic & direct sales monetization models, along with ad personalization and first-party data strategy.
  • Proficiency with ad manager & analytic tools (GAM, G360, Adobe, Tableau, Power BI)
  • Background in digital performance marketing or digital media monetization in a telecom, media, or tech environment.

Our Lead Tech Product Manager earns between$143,800-$215,800 USD Annual. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
