Lead Systems Operations Engineer

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Systems Operations Engineer.

This role requires leading the CDO -Data Tech Operations – Risk and Controls Operation activities to manage and govern on Cyber Security Initiatives, Vulnerability management, EOS /EOL support activities and Certificate management for CDO. Expected to take complete accountability & responsibility over deliverables – Risk and Control operations, Vulnerability Management, Automation Performance Management, Process Adherence & Improvement. Should have extensive experience on one or more of these technologies – Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate, Alteryx Designer, SQL Server. Should be good with decision-making skills and focused on Partnership / Stakeholder Management.

In this role, you will:

• Challenging Risk and Controls operation activities for Data Technology involving Control Automations Control Executions, Vulnerability management, EOS/EOL management, Cybersecurity Initiatives management
• Accountability & responsibility over deliveries. - Vulnerability Management, Cybersecurity Initiatives, Control Executions and Automation, Process Adherence & Improvement, Decision Making with Partnership / Stakeholder Management
• Responsible for leading an driving team to monitor Control automation efforts.
• Support the most complex technical issues & initiatives.
• Development of technical support strategies & plans / Automation & Instrumentation to enable efficiency in Control Management.
• Works on complex problems, debugging & propose solutions where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of complex business problems.
• As an escalation point, provides guidance and direction to less experienced staff in resolution of highly complex technical problems. Leads projects and manages the work of less experienced staff.
• Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported technology domain
• Ability to handle constantly changing priorities, remain productive and be able to multitask effectively during busy times
• Efficient communication with application stakeholders about application availability & platform updates including any application outages, issues, failures, availability delays etc.
• Ready to work in shift hours that spans between 6 AM to 10:30 PM IST & should be flexible to work on weekends.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• Extensive experience (10+ years) in platform operations and Support activities.
• Minimum of 4+ years’ experience in Data technologies – Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, SQL Server, Oracle Alteryx.
• Experience in Data management and Governance related projects.

Job Expectations:

• Experience in the BFSI industry and managing banking applications
• Exposure on one of the cloud technologies (Google/Azure/AWS)
