Lead Sustainability Analyst – Aviation Supply

As a Lead Sustainability Analyst within our Aviation Supply team, you will play a key role in expanding our Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) capabilities, ensuring operational excellence, and supporting global decarbonization initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to meaningful environmental impact while advancing your career in renewable fuels and aviation.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and participate in sustainability certification audits (RSB CORSIA, ISCC CORSIA, EU RED).
- Support back-office operations for SAF/SAFc including tenders, financial activities, and inventory reconciliation.
- Work across multiple systems including Oracle, Tender Management System (TMS), Proof of Sustainability (POS) tools, and SAF registry platforms.
- Build and maintain deep expertise in World Fuel’s aviation operations, logistics, and North American distribution network.
- Help ensure compliance and integrity across physical fuel operations.
- Analyze SAF and sustainability market trends, forecasts, balances, and portfolio dynamics.
What You Bring
Required
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 2 - 5 years of experience in aviation, fuels, or renewable fuels.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to collect, synthesize, and interpret complex data.
- Excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and interpersonal.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast‑moving environment.
- Curiosity, tenacity, and a genuine interest in sustainability and renewable fuel solutions.
- Oracle system experience.
- Willingness to learn and work across multiple IT platforms.
- Familiarity with U.S. refined products and aviation supply‑chain networks.
Preferred
- Experience in the aviation or oil & gas industry.
- Background/or a strong willingness to learn sustainable aviation or renewable fuel programs.
