Supernal provides an inviting open-space workplace designed to foster collaboration, which aligns with one of our core values. This position is required to work on-site 5 days a week.

What we do: 

This position serves as a critical link between logistics operations and procurement functions, ensuring seamless supply chain performance. The role is designed to optimize procurement strategies, manage global transportation, and maintain inventory accuracy while fostering supplier relationships and driving cost efficiencies. The incumbent will lead cross-functional initiatives to support production schedules, testing, and certification milestones. 

What you can do:

Logistics & Operations:

  • Oversee and maintain a team capable of achieving throughput and quality that pushes beyond the standard
  • Direct and oversee international and domestic transportation strategies to ensure timely and damage-free delivery of critical components
  • Develop and implement best practices for shipping, inventory control, and warehouse management to align with supporting prototype and production programs
  • Proactively identify schedule risks and establish mitigation plans to prevent and minimize operational disruptions
  • Collaborate with internal teams to manage inventory accuracy and optimize storage solutions
  • Evaluate and negotiate contracts with carriers and third-party logistics providers to achieve cost and service objectives
  • Coordinate product transitions from integration facilities to testing environments, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Facilitate Kaizen and Lean events to standardize business practices, improve operational efficiency, and reduce waste across procurement and logistics processes

Strategic Sourcing & Procurement:

  • Lead procurement activities including RFI/RFP processes, supplier selection, and performance evaluations
  • Develop category strategies that align with organizational goals and product development timelines
  • Negotiate complex contractual agreements, pricing structures, and service-level commitments
  • Establish and maintain strategic supplier partnerships and QBRs to drive innovation and continuous improvement
  • Monitor supplier performance metrics including quality, delivery, and financial stability
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure sourcing decisions support technical, schedule requirements and cost
  • Collaborate with Finance and ERP teams to create and adopt Procure to Pay process that operates inside ERP system without third party systems

What you can contribute:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related discipline is required
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of progressive experience in logistics and strategic sourcing within advanced technology or mobility sectors
  • Ability to perform and operate independently in areas of high ambiguity
  • Experience managing teams and providing daily supervision and support
  • Experience in managing contracts through full life cycle and requirements
  • Proven track record in managing global supply chains and negotiating high-value contracts
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a focus on data-driven decision-making
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage complex supplier relationships
  • Ability to travel up to 10%

You may also be able to contribute:

  • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Siemens PLM tools is highly desirable

 

 

Base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a bonus as part of total compensation.

The pay range for this position is:
$153,000$187,000 USD
