This role will be central to strengthening the Strategy and Corporate Development function and is expected to deliver important insights and decision support to executive management within a high-caliber team of former top-tier consultants.
What you will be responsible for
Assist in the development and implementation of strategic initiatives that align with SimCorp’s business objectives and long-term goals
Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and internal assessments to provide actionable insights and recommendations for growth and efficiency
Analyze financial and operational data to assess the effectiveness of existing strategies and identify areas for improvement
Support senior consultants and leadership in the development of business cases, strategic plans, and presentations
Collaborate with internal teams to understand business needs and ensure that strategic initiatives are aligned with operational requirements
Track and report on the progress of strategic projects, ensuring that milestones and objectives are met
Provide support in preparing presentations, reports, and communications to senior management and stakeholders, ensuring clarity and transparency in strategic priorities
Assist in the identification of risks and challenges associated with strategic initiatives, helping to implement solutions and mitigations
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market shifts, and emerging technologies, providing recommendations for how SimCorp can adapt its strategy accordingly
Support the development of strategic frameworks, tools, and best practices to improve the strategic planning process
What we value

5+ years of experience in strategy consulting or business analysis, preferably in the asset management or investment technology sector
Proficient in analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights
Experience in conducting market research, competitor analysis, and financial assessments
Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly
Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques
Ability to work collaboratively across teams and influence stakeholders
Effective organizational and time management skills
Understanding of the asset management industry and investment technology landscape is beneficial
