This role will be central to strengthening the Strategy and Corporate Development function and is expected to deliver important insights and decision support to executive management within a high-caliber team of former top-tier consultants.

What you will be responsible for 

  • Assist in the development and implementation of strategic initiatives that align with SimCorp’s business objectives and long-term goals

  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and internal assessments to provide actionable insights and recommendations for growth and efficiency

  • Analyze financial and operational data to assess the effectiveness of existing strategies and identify areas for improvement

  • Support senior consultants and leadership in the development of business cases, strategic plans, and presentations

  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand business needs and ensure that strategic initiatives are aligned with operational requirements

  • Track and report on the progress of strategic projects, ensuring that milestones and objectives are met

  • Provide support in preparing presentations, reports, and communications to senior management and stakeholders, ensuring clarity and transparency in strategic priorities

  • Assist in the identification of risks and challenges associated with strategic initiatives, helping to implement solutions and mitigations

  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market shifts, and emerging technologies, providing recommendations for how SimCorp can adapt its strategy accordingly

  • Support the development of strategic frameworks, tools, and best practices to improve the strategic planning process

  • 5+ years of experience in strategy consulting or business analysis, preferably in the asset management or investment technology sector

  • Proficient in analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights

  • Experience in conducting market research, competitor analysis, and financial assessments

  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques

  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and influence stakeholders

  • Effective organizational and time management skills

  • Understanding of the asset management industry and investment technology landscape is beneficial
