Development of the MMC view of risk via research, development, and maintenance of proprietary cyber risk loss estimation models
Evaluating and licensing external models and data to complement our proprietary view of risk

The MMC Cyber Risk Intelligence Center team offers to provide cyber modeling, thought leadership, and cyber analytics guidance across the MMC enterprise. The Lead Specialist would work closely with this group to:
Expand upon the company’s existing cyber database to keep in-house model consistent with the market trends and have an immediate impact on clients.
Build database for emerging aspects of cyber risk
Understand the different cyber data and analytics needs of corporations, insurance companies, and reinsurance companies, and develop database pipeline and analytic solutions for each

We will count on you to:
Primarily work with the MMC Cyber Risk Intelligence Center team to maintain, expand and develop existing workflow
Clean, preprocess, and document data science projects and cloud data pipelines using SQL, Python, dbt, and Spark.
Build and organize cloud data pipelines, data science models, and analytics into stable and scalable workflows within Databricks.
Write clear, comprehensive documentation for data pipelines, models, and applications.
Manage code repositories and version control using GitHub, ensuring best practices for collaboration and code quality.
Identify, troubleshoot, and fix bugs in existing data science code and applications.
Collaborate effectively with backend engineering teams to integrate data science solutions.
Work asynchronously across Denver and Mumbai time zones, ensuring timely communication and project delivery.
Support continuous improvement of data workflows and deployment processes.
The incumbent will assist in transforming data science projects into robust, production-ready pipelines, dashboards, and applications within Databricks.
Be client centric - To be self-motivated and effectively switch between projects to meet business priorities
What you need to have:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field.
Experience with SQL, Python, dbt and cloud data ETL pipelines.
Proficiency with version control systems, especially GitHub.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote, asynchronous environment.
Excellent written communication skills for documentation purposes.
What makes you stand out?
Experience building cloud data ETL pipelines in environments such as AWS, GCP, Databricks, dbt etc.
Experience working asynchronously across global time zones using ticketing systems, sharepoint/confluence, and chat applications for coordination.
Experience and familiarity with modern AI solutions, including LLMs, Graph Networks, and Recommendation Algorithms.
Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts and controls, such as threat intelligence, EDR, SIEM, PAM, etc
Strong academic rigor, and students passing with statistics and data science skills from reputed institution
Strong programming skills
Good communication skills to collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and business teams
