We are seeking a talented individual to join our Casualty Risk Consulting team at Knowledge Services function of Marsh. This role will be based in Mumbai. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

The Casualty Risk Consulting team collaborates closely with clients, program managers and carriers to proactively identify ways to achieve optimal claims outcomes. Additionally, we provide end-to-end integrated experience across advocacy, preparation, and handling, specifically designed to drive simplicity and close claims quickly. We prepare organizations with claims strategies using proprietary technology and data to minimize a client’s claims exposure and improve their cost of risk transfer.

We will count on you to:

  • Wrangle, standardize and validate US Casualty claims data across multiple clients, transforming raw data into analytics-ready formats for in-house analytical platform consumption.

  • Monitor Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) data feeds regularly to detect and flag any data gaps or inconsistencies. Communicate these issues promptly to relevant stakeholders to facilitate timely resolution.

  • Manage complex and large claim files originating from third party’s Risk Management Information Systems (RMIS)

  • Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders by providing regular project updates, sharing enhancement ideas, and incorporating feedback to improve business delivery and capabilities.

  • Oversee project workflows by effectively allocating tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely delivery of project milestones. Proactively identify and resolve any bottlenecks to maintain smooth operations.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support reporting deliverables, dashboard development and generate insightful KPI’s

What you need to have:

  • 4+ years of experience with strong data analytics skillsets. Candidates with General Insurance domain across diverse types of claims, claims lifecycle and claim data will be preferred.

  • Graduate or Masters or Business Administration or any equivalent education program.

  • Proficient in advanced Excel, SQL, Power BI, and basic Python with experience in data transformation and modelling

  • Excellent communication skills with proven stakeholder and project management experience, experience in working with cross-functional teams will be an advantage.
