JOB TITLE: Lead Software Engineering

DUTIES: Lead and mentor a team of software engineers in designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions. Responsible to work with portfolio stakeholders, Solution and Enterprise Architects, to develop, analyze, contribute to MVP approach, and realize the implementation of product enhancements. Lead and mentor a team of software engineers in translating core architecture for business requirements into a final technical solution consisting of platform, network, software, and cloud solutions. Utilize expertise in Java, Kafka, Camunda, and Kubernetes to develop high-quality software. Leverage Docker and Cloud Computing technologies to create scalable and efficient software solutions. Use scripting languages to automate tasks and enhance the functionality of our software solutions. Implement automated testing frameworks like Junit and Katalon to ensure the quality and reliability of our software. Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, ensuring that best practices are followed. Manage the end-to-end requirements process, using tools to define the set of processes and approach for each project, and handle issue resolution. Conduct peer reviews and assesses the impact and opportunity of new technologies to enable new capabilities. Oversee the successful development and execution of software modules by using new and emerging products, technologies, and applications. Participate across the project lifecycle to ensure requirements are met to stakeholder specifications. Analyze data and reports to understand business problems and validate solutions once they are live. Perform technical analysis for new features and technical projects. Write technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and sequence diagrams.Act as team lead as needed to provide leadership to less experienced professionals. Work in a scaled agile development environment. Utilize knowledge of Java and J2EE. Using Kafka, Camunda, and Kubernetes. Utilize Docker and Cloud Computing technologies. Use strong scripting skills. Operate automated testing frameworks such as Junit and Katalon. Contribute to technical roadmap and technical debt elimination, balancing time, resource, and quality constraints to achieve business and strategic goals and requirements. Develop integrated systems enabling unified experience across applications and driving insights for end-to-end user experience. Enforce unit test coverage and automation coverage to be at maximum to ensure high quality product. Utilize version control systems such as GitHub and Bitbucket for managing code repositories and ensuring seamless integration into CI/CD pipelines and ensuring efficient deployment and orchestration across development, staging, and production environments. Maintain detailed documentation of designs, frameworks, and strategies, ensuring clear communication and collaboration with stakeholders. Utilize troubleshooting skills, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to drive the team to deliver the business goals are essential for success in this role. Incorporate new frameworks, standards, and technologies to drive innovation and maintain the effectiveness of the software solutions.

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or Computer Science and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation working in a scaled agile development environment; utilizing knowledge of Java and J2EE; using Kafka, Camunda, and Kubernetes; utilizing Docker and Cloud Computing technologies; using strong scripting skills; operating automated testing frameworks such as Junit and Katalon; contributing to technical roadmap and technical debt elimination, balancing time, resource, and quality constraints to achieve business and strategic goals and requirements; developing integrated systems enabling unified experience across applications and driving insights for end-to-end user experience; enforcing unit test coverage and automation coverage to be at maximum to ensure high quality product; utilizing version control systems such as GitHub and Bitbucket for managing code repositories and ensuring seamless integration into CI/CD pipelines and ensuring efficient deployment and orchestration across development, staging, and production environments; and maintaining detailed documentation of designs, frameworks, and strategies, ensuring clear communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
