About the Role:

We are looking for software engineers who want to be part of a growing technology team. To build state of the art applications and platforms to meet our mission to be the world's most trusted journalism, data and analysis to help people make decisions. In this particular role, you'll be part of the Content Services team, responsible for acquisition, normalization, enrichment and delivery of content for the Dow Jones B2B and B2C products, using the latest technologies in data analysis and AI.   This role will report to the Director of Content Management Services.

You Will:

• Successfully collaborate with engineers across other Dow Jones products to drive and improve standards of code development and other SDLC best practices.

• Champion the product scalability, usability, reliability, functionality and performance

• Drive AI adoption in development and other engineering related efforts.

• Decrease the time to market for deliverables with the assistance of AI and related tools.

• Provide advice, guidance, training and support to less senior developers, business and information technology users, business partners, and management

• Identify and define solutions to business requirements and deliver state-of-the-art implementations in the form of application design, development and support

You Have:

• 4-7 years of experience developing applications as a full stack developer

• Proven understanding of Computer Science fundamentals including application development, microservice architecture, cloud computing, test driven development and domain driven design

• Extensive experience developing & deploying application software and backend systems, with full knowledge of the SDLC.

• Familiar with Docker, AWS or other cloud or container-based application development and deployment

• Knowledge with AI tools and coding assistance agents

• Experience with building LLM-based solutions

• Knowledge with SQL and noSQL databases
